What Legal Requirements Should I Be Aware Of When Personalizing A Firearm?

Each customer has a duty to check with their own local city, county and state laws and regulations. While we will customize a firearm to your liking, we are not responsible for firearms that might violation certain laws.

Are There Any Restrictions On The Design Or Features I Can Choose?

No. The options are limitless on our end. However, please keep in mind that cannot copy designs, logos or artwork that has a copyright, trademark, or registered marks, (For example, we cannot copy the Nike, Mercedes, NRA, etc. logos or names.)

How Much Does It Cost To Personalize A Firearm?

Since each firearm is unique, coupled with the details involved in each customization, each job must be individually quoted.

Are There Any Restrictions On The Design Or Features I Can Choose?

Since customizations are specific to each firearm, so are the desires for the work required for each customization. While one client may choose to upgrade a barrel or a guide rod, others may want a complete makeover of their prized possessions. For these reasons, the fees for each customization request will vary from job to job.

How Long Does It Take To Craft And Deliver A Personalized Firearm?

On average, certain work may take as little as four weeks, while others will take up to four months. Since this time period can vary greatly, we will notify customers of unexpected delays.

What Is The Shipping Process, And Are There Any Restrictions On Delivery?

Yes! All firearms (not parts) must be shipped via FedEx Express Two-Day (or overnight) Shipping, or with USPS Express Mail, if available. If you ship it from your home, we can ship back to your home, subject to your local and state laws. To be safe, we highly recommend and encourage shipping to your local FFL to avoid any delays or surprises!

Is There A Warranty For Personalized Firearms?

Yes, but to a certain degree. While we warrant our workmanship, for obvious reasons, we cannot warranty malfunctions resulting from (for example): 1) your own disassembly or “takedown” of your firearm; 2) the use of incorrect ammunition; 3) intentional misuse or mishandling of your firearm(s).

What Kind Of Customer Support Is Available After The Purchase?

We will notify you once the project is completed and will confirm ship-back location prior to shipment. Keep in mind, we reiterate that in order to minimize any shipping risks, we recommend and encourage your use of your local FFL to receive your customized firearm(s)

Can I Get Assistance In Designing My Personalized Firearm?

Are There Pre-Designed Templates Or Examples To Choose From?

Yes. We have several sample packages for you to choose (or mix-and-match from) available on our website and Instagram page @Blackbeards_Customs

Is There A Limit To The Complexity Of The Design?

Yes, to a certain degree. While we aim to achieve anything and everything you can envision, our tools and machinery might limit our ability to make your dream a reality! If there is something we are unable to do (which will be rare), we will surely let you know!

What Is The Policy For Returns Or Refunds If I Am Not Satisfied With The Personalized Firearm?

Just as any other custom-made job or order, unfortunately, we will not be able to offer any refund or return requests on any custom project. Thus, we encourage you to think and long and carefully review our other projects from our photo gallery in making your customization decisions.

Are There Any Specific Conditions For Returns?

We do not offer returns or refunds on any custom projects.

Can I Personalize Any Type Of Firearm, Or Are There Restrictions?

We will confirm the simplicity or complexity of your custom project in advance of any work. For that reason, we also offer the option for time-limited and scheduled zoom or phone calls for consultations with your specific project(s).
